How it works

Salesforce testing in a real browser

Last updated October 2026

  • Agents have browser-use and navigate Salesforce, just as your users will.
  • Click-testing against acceptance criteria.
  • Every browser session is recorded: video, screenshots, and timed steps.
  • Watch the agent's browser live while it works.

Why test on screen

Testing isn't real unless click-testing is done in a real browser. The knowvation agents open a browser, log in to your sandbox and click through the Salesforce user interface the way your users will. All agents have access to browser-use: Business Analyst, Architect, Developer, and QA Engineer, although building and testing are the primary reason the agents use a browser.

Tested as your users

The agents test thoroughly. They create test users as needed, with appropriate profiles, roles, and permission sets, or they log in as existing users. All browser-use is recorded and each video is annotated with the running user.

Video proof

Every browser session is recorded. A video with each agent click highlighted, key screenshots taken, and every key step easily navigable on the video timeline. Agents produce summary packets of their work and include links to browser-use recordings. All recordings live with knowvation, on your single-tenant, secure cloud, behind your sign-in.

Watch it live

Anyone who can open a ticket in knowvation can ride along and watch the agent's browser sessions. This is a useful way early on to build trust in your team of agents.

Safe by design

  • The browser runs inside your knowvation install, in your cloud, with no keys or identity of its own.
  • It connects only to your sandbox, and agents never see a password, key, token, or sign-in link.
  • Some tasks can only be solved with Setup configuration. If an agent configures Salesforce in this way, this is clearly documented in the Manual Step section of the agent's packet.
  • Every browser step is logged.
